Auto Delete Messages

You can setup your email program to automatically empty your deleted email folder when you exit the program.

For Windows Live Mail:
  1. Click on the Windows Live Mail button on the extreme top left then click on Options > Mail.

  2. Click the Advanced tab and then the Maintenance button.

  3. Check Empty messages from the ‘deleted Items’ folder on Exit.

  4. Click Close > Apply > OK.

For Outlook Express from the main screen:
  1. Click Tools, Options and then select the Maintenance tab.

  2. In the 'Cleaning up Message' area, check the box next to 'Empty messages from the Deleted Items folder on exit', click OK and you're done.

The next time you close your Mail application the Deleted Folder will be emptied.
